Abstract

The isomeric state in the doubly-even single closed shell nuclei with N = 82 neutrons has been studied in a quasi-particle model. The lifetime is calculated and compared to the experimental data. Some components of the wave-function of the isomeric state are compared with experimental data from one-nucleon transfer reactions.
